I have been fortunate to work for an organization that supports on-site Yoga classes. My co-worker “Yogis” have ranged from their 20’s to 60’s in age, and equally represent both genders. We have walkers, runners, cyclists, swimmers, triathletes, and those with more casual recreation activities, in our group. Jody has been a wonderful fit! Her knowledge, enthusiasm, and willingness to coach individuals has resulted in the largest class size we have ever experienced! Jody’s class is a great way to end an active work day – letting go of any tension or stress, and finding our mind and body balance.
— Eric Albertson, Connexus Energy

Jody’s yoga style is very adaptable to our athletes needs. Whether the focus was on the hips, shoulders, core, or any muscle group, she always had great flow into poses and vinyasas. With the depth of detail Jody puts into explaining and performing how the poses/movements should look and feel, it made the class easy to attend. When I finished the class there was always a positive sense of accomplishment and my body felt strong and fluid.
— Paul Elsing, Acceleration Northwest

The yoga Jody provides is challenging, unique and absolutely never the same. The variety of poses and the workout can not be beat. We are always left feeling that we’ve gotten a great workout and also, that we’ve learned something new.

Jody, as a leader, exudes positivity and fun. Her extensive expertise guides us as she answers all the questions we throw at her! She is able to guide us through difficult movements with such patience and grace. It is a pleasure every time. We love her!
— Esther Sobocinski

Jody led a Mindfulness session for our corporate group. She gave the group strategies to incorporate into their daily work life to help them ease their stress and improve their focus. She had a great sense of humor and utilized hands-on methods to keep the group engaged. I’d highly recommend her for a great session!

I took my first yoga class 20 years ago. What hooked me? Savasana (the pose where you lay down at the end). It’s silly but true. It was the first time someone said it was ok to slow down and relax. It was wonderful. This is more relevant today as things only seem to speed up with my my hubby, two kids, 13-year-old beagle, social life, and work. I am more than sure you can relate.

Why do I love my job? Because I hear stories all the time about how a simple move I suggested, or a consistent practice, made a huge difference in someone’s life. Examples include relief from back pain, carpal tunnel, migraines, shoulder issues, and one of my faves--being able to tie a shoe without sitting down. When you feel better physically you feel better mentally, and this leads to overall wellbeing.

This yoga session is for all levels. Never taken a class? No problem. I provide options so you are able to work where you are on any given day. If this means resting while others are moving, perfect. To be advanced in yoga is to do what is right for you and let the rest go. If you have any specific concerns, let me know right away so we can set you up for success from the start. I use a toolkit of action and ease and aim to help you find balance on and off the mat. This is done through awareness, purposeful goals, and showing up.

Yoga is a fun way to do something good for your body while engaging with co-workers in a non-work related way. You can expect to increase strength, flexibility and focus. Mindfulness techniques are sprinkled throughout class and will help you be more present in yoga and life.

While this is my 9th year teaching, I am a forever student as there are always to areas to improve my quality of life. No class is the same. I try to challenge you while making it fun. Feel free to find out more at If you have any questions, email me at I hope to see you this session!
